What should I check before buying translation and evaluation as one bundle?
A bundle can contain distinct services with different acceptance rules. Confirm the evaluator, report type, translation standard and source-delivery route separately; a single checkout does not establish that every component meets the recipient’s requirements.

Name every component
List translation, credential analysis, source verification, additional recipients and delivery. Ask who performs each task and which organization issues the final report. A reseller’s invoice is not the same as the evaluator’s acceptance by the destination.
Check recipient compatibility
The school or board may specify a particular evaluator or direct institutional record channel. A convenient package can still be unusable if it chooses a different report or breaks provenance. Get the instruction before comparing bundle prices.
Ask how failures are separated
If the source is incomplete or the recipient declines the evaluator, ask which services can be revised or refunded. Avoid assuming that a translation correction also changes an evaluator’s academic conclusion. Keep each deliverable and its terms identifiable.
A practical review for this handoff
Ask whether the bundle’s translation remains usable if you later choose another evaluator. Ownership, access and permitted sharing of the deliverable can matter. Keep the translation certificate and evaluation report separately identifiable so an update to one component does not create confusion about which organization issued or reviewed the other.
Unbundle the services before assessing convenience
An academic package can combine language work, credential analysis, source verification and report delivery. Identify the organization responsible for each output. A reseller may collect payment without being the evaluator that signs the opinion. A translated transcript and an evaluation report should remain distinguishable so the recipient can see what the university recorded and what the evaluator concluded.
WES's report descriptions show the difference between overall credential comparison and course-level analysis. Berkeley's requirements refer to a particular evaluation alternative in specified circumstances. Those examples demonstrate why a bundle's product name must match the recipient's actual instruction. A convenient combination using a different evaluator or report can still leave the required service missing.
Check source provenance and future use component by component
Ask whether official records must arrive directly from the institution and whether the bundle preserves that chain. An applicant-uploaded scan may be suitable for translation without becoming an accepted official evaluation source. The Department of Education's recognition guidance leaves acceptance with the receiving authority, so a seller's broad statement of usability cannot replace the named recipient's rule.
For an illustrative order, list the transcript translation, degree evaluation, direct-record request and report sent to a licensing board as four items. Ask what happens if the institution cannot provide a required record or the recipient declines the selected evaluator. Clarify which deliverables can be downloaded or reused and which terms govern a correction to each. A corrected translation may require the evaluator to reassess an affected conclusion, but it does not automatically change the evaluation. This component-level view reveals whether the bundle genuinely coordinates a handoff or merely packages unrelated services under one price.

Common questions
Does one checkout mean one acceptance rule?
No. Translation, evaluation and delivery can each have separate requirements.
Who should issue the evaluation report?
The actual evaluator accepted by the recipient, as confirmed in the order.
Can a bundle replace direct issuer delivery?
Only if the recipient accepts that route.
Does translation correction change academic equivalence automatically?
No. Evaluation conclusions follow the evaluator’s separate review process.
